She specializes in assassinating Blighted targets, as the damage bonus granted by the above two attacks indicate. Her propensity for landing criticals can lead to some unexpectedly helpful Stress heals. Lunge and Thrown Dagger already start with a higher-than-average CRIT rate and continue to scale upwards, and her trinkets and buffs can raise those stats even higher. Her greatest assets are her high DODGE and CRIT ratings to offset her below-average HP. The Grave Robber makes for a speedy attacker anywhere from positions 2 to 4. "Think of the treasure, sweethearts! All gleam and gold!" She can increase scouting chance, heal Diseases, resupply the party with an item, or attempt to heal stress (but that can backfire). The Grave Robber's camping skills are each distinct from each other, giving her a fair bit of utility. Any Buffs or lasting effects given from a camping skill lasts for 4 battles. Only 4 of these can be equipped at one time. Most heroes have three shared camping skills and all heroes have 4 unique camping skills (with the Flagellant being the exception, having only unique camping skills). ![]() They take a certain number of "respite" points to use, and can only be used once per camp (unless the skill says otherwise). She may reluctantly confess to pilfering an item in the Hamlet prior to departure, or entertain those with a similarly morbid sense of humor with a biting and ironic wit.Ĭamping skills are special skills heroes can use while they are camping. You still can pull it off by tanking with lot of self heals and take your time to reorganize your party but you'll take a beating doing so.The Grave Robber is restless, and prefers to wander while the party camps, always on the lookout for trinkets and baubles. On the other hand, you have to heavily focus your houndmaster on stress healing, which mitigate the benefits of having the strong transformed abomination a lot.Īlso this party is very vulnerable to shuffling, which is a decisive handicap on higher difficulties for what I now see. Houndmaster is the key element I missed, as the stress heal and the very good combo with arbalest including a bonus but very handy prot debuff are quite usefull. This party seems to work quite well even if highway man isn't optimized and I'd probably have sloted a Hellion instead if I had one avalaible. You can't get a Vestal with an abomination, unless it became possible with crimson court that I don't own yet.įor now I went with Houndmaster / Arbalest / Abomination / Highway man. I could even go through champion dungeons in the weald (as everbody knows, the weald is seriously rage inducing on champion difficulty). Originally posted by Nightsail:Vestal / Arbalest / ABM / Man at Armsīoth of these parties are extremely good. Meanwhile, when not transformed, the abomination works well as a stunner and can self heal when not doing that. This makes the abomination great as a high damage AOE character when transformed. The abomination also has a camping skill that self buffs for +25% DMG and his skill rake gives an additional +15% DMG buff when it's used. I recommend the occultist for an abomination group, not only as a healer, but also because, on medium and long quests, he has a +20% DMG buff that he can use for the abomination. The vestal and flagellant are obviously out because both are religious, so that leaves the occultist as a strong healer (with the arballest, plague doctor and antiquarian as possible options for secondary healers). Either the jester or houndmaster would work for this, but the houndmaster might work a little better because his stress heal targets the whole party and he's, IMO, a stronger class overall compared to the jester. Because the abomination also stress out the rest of the party when transforming, it's a good idea to have a stress healer for the rest of the party. ![]() There are three stress healer's available to the abomination: the houndmaster, the jester, and the abomination himself. Remember that religious characters can't team up with the abomination, so crusader won't work in this case.
